In 2024 Turtle Hills Ltd invested into Goldcept Kartlii LLC, which is an exploration and exploitation license owner.

The exploration works on the eastern flank of Tsiteli Sopeli have already commenced.

The project goal is to explore, prove and then exploit gold and copper mining reserves over the licensed territory.

The licensed area of Goldcept Kartli LLC (105,059 km2) is located in the Bolnisi district of the Kvemo-Kartli region of Georgia, 78 km from Tbilisi.

On the territory of the licensed area there is a known gold-copper ore deposit, several ore occurrences and gold-bearing “secondary quartzites”.

The territory belongs to the Disvel plateau with soft terrain and absolute altitudes from 500 to 800m.
